The Entity History Log dialog box displays when the user chooses History... from the Entity menu. The dialog box displays as shown below:
Each type and class of entity has a discrete list of events that are entered into the entity history log. These include:
| CHECKIN | Date and time entity was checked in |
| CHECKOUT | Date and time entity was checked out |
| COMPILE | Date and time of (re)compilation; compilation can occur implicitly, because of impact analysis; all instances of recompilation are recorded, automatically |
| NEW | Date and time of entity creation |
| UPDATE | Date and time of the most recent entity update |
| WRITE | Date and time of modification of source code |
