If the installation instructions have been followed properly, the test launch of SRP FrameWorks should proceed without any issues. As previously noted, FW_MAIN is the entry point for the application. This can be changed out or renamed later if desired, but for now we need to run this form to verify that SRP FrameWorks is working.

Opening the Application

Since we are test launching SRP FrameWorks, you should open the application in development mode. While many of the screenshots used in these articles show "SRP FrameWorks" as the application name, we recommend that you open and test from the production application that was created during the installation of the product. After the production application is open, do a spot check to make sure the core database tables (APP_INFO, GROUPS, HELP, and USERS) are attached. SRP FrameWorks will not run properly if these are not available.

Launching FRW_MAIN

You can launch FRW_MAIN using any standard method for launching a form. However, if you have the Launch App command button accessible on the OpenInsight Application Manager window, it is easier to just click this.

Logging In

When FRW_MAIN is launched it is not visible right away. This is because you will be prompted to login with a valid SRP FrameWorks user first. Thus, you will first be presented with the default SRP FrameWorks Login form (NDW_LOGIN):

The default Administrator username is ADMIN and with password as ADMIN (these are case sensitive.) This password can be changed later.

Success

Once you have successfully logged in, the FRW_MAIN form will now appear:

If you have come this far then congratulations! SRP FrameWorks is installed and ready for you to build powerful and flexible applications.
