Description

Executes a specified page action.

Syntax

bforward = PAGE (ctrlentID, ctrlclassID, pageaction)

Parameters

PAGE accepts arguments for the following parameters.

ctrlentIDHas the format WindowName.ControlName, where WindowName is the identifier of the window that contains the affected control, and ControlName is the identifier of the control. Notice that a period separates the two values.
ctrlclassIDThe type of control that recognizes the event. The window control type is the only valid entry.
pageactionpageaction may be one of the following:

<number>Go to the specified page. If <0, then 1. If > max page, then maximum (last) page.
'+'Go to the next page, no wraparound.
'++'Go to the next page, wraparound.
'-'Go to the previous page, no wrap.
'--'Go to the previous page, wraparound.
'L'Go to the last page. Passing a large number will do the same.

Returns

True or false. If false, the program execution returns to the calling procedure. If true, the event processing goes to the next level.

Remarks

The PAGE event is used to change the page. To trap a page change event, use the VSCROLL event for the window.
