Description
Occurs when the list portion of a combo box is about to drop-down.
Syntax
bforward = DROPDOWN (ctrlentID, ctrlclassID, editlinetext)
Parameters
DROPDOWN accepts arguments for the following parameters.
| Parameter | Description |

| ctrlentID | Has the format WindowName.ControlName, where WindowName is the identifier of the window that contains the affected control, and ControlName is the identifier of the control. Notice that a period separates the two values. |
| ctrlclassID | The type of control that recognizes the event. The combo box control is the only valid entry. |
| editlinetext | The text in the edit line of the combo box. |
Returns
True or false. If false, the program execution returns to the calling procedure. If true, the event processing goes to the next level.
