Description
Holds Windows messages in the Presentation Server's queue until OpenEngine completes the current event processing.
Usage
status = Get_Property ("SYSTEM", "HOLD_EVENTS")
status = Set_Property ("SYSTEM", "HOLD_EVENTS", truefalse)
When the flag is set (default), Windows messages are prevented from being processed while the event handler is being executed. When not set (0), Windows messages are being processed; as a result, some OpenInsight events could be discarded if OpenEngine is still busy.
Remarks
This property is useful to avoid deadlock if the event handler is calling an external DLL that has its own message processing (such as MessageBox).
