Description
Go to the previous (positional) record in the DataSet.
Syntax
bforward = DSOPREV (ctrlentID, ctrlclassID, DSOID, circular)
Parameters
DSOPREV accepts arguments for the following parameters.
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| CtrlentID | Has the format WindowName.ControlName, where WindowName is the identifier of the window that contains the affected control, and ControlName is the identifier of the control. Notice that a period separates the two values. |
| ctrlclassID | The type of control that recognizes the event. The window control type is the only valid entry. |
| DSOID | The name of the DataSet, or the ordinal number of the DataSet (its position in the list of DataSets that appears in the Form Designer's Edit Selection Criteria dialog box) |
| Circular | Boolean flag that when set to 0 stops at the first record, when 1 backs up to the last record after the first. |
Returns
True or false. If false, then program execution returns to the calling procedure. If true, then event processing goes to the next level.
