Deploying an application, and the ability to upgrade production applications with minimal affect on the users, is critical to success.  OpenInsight provides

• the Runtime Deployment Kit (RDK), for efficient deployment of applications to user sites, and for packaging upgrades to production applications.

• the Repository, for tracking changes to entities that can be included in an upgrade.

• builder tools such as the Database Manager and the Table Builder for managing OpenInsight databases and tables.

As well as BASIC+ functions, routines, and subroutines such as Define Database and Attach_Table  to allow the programmer to manage application deployment and maintenance in detail.
