Formatted String properties accept data in a specific format. Formatted String properties differ from Option properties in that they do not have a limited list of acceptable strings. However, Formatted String properties do not accept just any string like Text properties. For example, a property that accepts only file paths is a Formatted String property. Acceptable input is property-specific, so refer to the OLE control documentation.
